Add-ons

Extend any plan with the pieces your organization needs. 5 add-ons are live today, and one more is in beta. The rest of this page is what we are building next — named honestly, so you can tell what you can buy now and what you can only ask us to hurry up on.

Try each add-on before you read about it

See your colors on a receipt, outside ticket sales arriving on your door list, a signed agreement, a Mailchimp audience and an API call.

Pick a color

Watch a ticket receipt change with it. The text on your color is picked for you, so it stays readable.

View your tickets

Your logo and color appear on the receipts, confirmations and reminders we send for you, and on your ticket checkout, embeds and dashboards.

Emails go out with your organization's name as the sender and your own reply-to address, so replies come to you.

Sales from other platforms, on your door list

Each connected platform sends its orders here as they happen.

Sales

Last order:

Whether someone bought on Eventbrite, Ticket Tailor or your own website, they are on the same door list and scan at the same door.

If you sell the same date on another platform too, you split its capacity between them, so each platform sells only its own share of the places.

Venue Family is not owned, developed, or controlled by Eventbrite, and we are not an Eventbrite partner. Eventbrite is a trademark of its owner; we name it here only to say what our software connects to. You will need your own Eventbrite account, and their fees on tickets sold there stay theirs.

A signed record for every agreement

Sign on screen, or send a certified envelope, as many as you like.

Certificate of Signature

A signature made on screen is recorded with who signed and when, the disclosure they were shown, the consent they gave, and the device and network address it came from. A certified envelope's consent step happens inside the independent signing service, so our record of it holds who signed and when, and that service's own certificate is kept beside ours. Every signature comes with a Certificate of Signature showing the timeline we recorded.

Unlimited certified envelopes every month, with no per-envelope charge.

Your Mailchimp audience, kept current

People who agreed to hear from you are added, tagged with what they came to.

When someone agrees to hear from you, we record when they agreed, where (checkout, the door or a form) and the device they used.

When someone unsubscribes in Mailchimp, or an address stops working, Mailchimp tells us and we record it here too.

You choose single or double opt-in.

A documented REST API

Two of the calls your own website or app can make.

Custom organization branding

$5/month — included with Medium plans and up

Make Venue Family look like you, everywhere your community meets you. Your logo and brand color carry through the emails we send on your behalf and the pages we host for you, not just your inbox.

  • Your logo and color on every receipt, confirmation and reminder email
  • The same look on your ticket checkout, embeds and dashboards
  • Your own sender name, reply-to address and email footer
  • Readable whatever color you choose: the text on it is picked for contrast

Ticketing channels

$20 per channel per month

Keep selling where your audience already is, and run the night in Venue Family. Connect Eventbrite or Ticket Tailor, and their buyers arrive on your door list with everyone else, with no typing in twice and no asking your regulars to buy somewhere new before you are ready.

  • Eventbrite and Ticket Tailor are supported today; connect both if you use both. pretix can be connected, but its orders are not added to your door list yet
  • Bring your existing events across, and publish new ones out
  • Every buyer on one door list, ready to scan on the night
  • Selling one date in two places? Split its capacity between them, so neither sells a place the other already has
  • Duplicates are found and merged only when you say so

Venue Family is not owned, developed, or controlled by Eventbrite, and we are not an Eventbrite partner. Eventbrite is a trademark of its owner; we name it here only to say what our software connects to. You will need your own Eventbrite account, and their fees on tickets sold there stay theirs.

Signatures & Waivers

$25/month — no charge per signature or per envelope

Turn any form into a signed record. Put a signature field on the form you already built and the questions and the agreement become one document, signed on the same page instead of chased through a separate tool.

For the agreements that need a third-party audit trail, the add-on includes certified envelopes. Unlimited, with no per-envelope charge and no monthly allowance to run out of in the week you send the most.

  • Waivers, releases and intake signed on the form, with no charge per signature
  • Certified envelopes for contracts that need a sealed, third-party record
  • Countersigning, so an agreement between you and a renter is signed by both

Mailchimp

In beta

$25/month

Your audience list stays current without anyone exporting a spreadsheet. The people who sign in at the door and fill in your forms, and agree to hear from you, land in your Mailchimp audience, tagged with the event they came for.

Campaigns, segments and follow-ups still happen in Mailchimp itself, the tool your marketing volunteer already knows. Deeper automation is what the beta is for, and the organizations in it are shaping it.

  • Connect your own Mailchimp account; your audience stays yours
  • When someone agrees to hear from you, we record when they agreed, where (checkout, the door or a form) and the device they used.
  • Single or double opt-in, your choice
  • When someone unsubscribes in Mailchimp, or an address stops working, Mailchimp tells us and we record it here too.

API and developer access

$50/month — included with the Pro plan

Connect your own website, apps or other systems to Venue Family through a documented REST API, with TypeScript and Python clients and API tokens you scope yourself.

  • Client libraries for TypeScript and JavaScript (@venue-family/sdk) and Python (venue-family)
  • Read your events, dates and locations; manage event dates, ticket types and their phases; take form submissions and volunteer sign-ups
  • Tokens with only the access you give them: read-only for a website, more for a tool you trust
  • The API answers your requests; it does not call your server. To stay current, ask it again. If your project needs us to call you, tell us; that is how the roadmap gets its order.

Available as an add-on on the Base, Medium and Large plans, and included with Pro. Read the API documentation

Neon One

$25/month

Two-way sync connecting constituent profiles, donations, campaigns, membership tiers, and door attendance telemetry with Neon CRM.

  • Two-way constituent contact sync with opt-in and consent tracking
  • Automatic donation synchronization mapped to custom Neon One funds, campaigns, and purposes
  • Membership tier synchronization with real-time member portal, discount passes, and monthly comps
  • Real-time door check-in and attendance telemetry streamed straight into Neon CRM

What we are building next

Venues keep asking for the tools they already run their organization on. Here is where each one really stands: no dates we cannot keep, and no price on anything you cannot buy yet.

In progress

Being built now. We name these because we intend to ship them, not because a date is set.

Asana

Send your event run sheet to Asana — a project per event, with tasks for the dates, load-in and deadlines — so production planning lives where your team already works.

Pricing at launch

More ticketing channels

Humanitix, Luma, Resident Advisor and SimpleTix next, working the same way as the channels we already support. Connect as many channels as you need at $20/month each.

$20 per channel per month

Text messages

Shift invitations and booking offers by text, answered with a tap or a reply of YES or NO, and a reminder the night before. Consent and opting out are built in from the start.

Exploring

On our list and researched, but nothing is built yet. If your venue needs one of these, telling us moves it up.

QuickBooks

Send event revenue, rental invoices and payouts through to your books, so reconciling stops being a monthly export.

pricing to be announced

Shopify

Merch alongside the ticket: sell shirts and records from your Shopify store on the same night out, and see both in one settlement. Tell us what you would want this to do.

Pricing at launch

Waiting on one of these? Tell us which and what you need it to do — we are a small team, and what our venues actually ask for is what gets built first.

Know when these ship

A short email when something on this page moves: an integration that is ready, a new add-on, or a change worth knowing before your next event. No more than once a month.

Unsubscribe any time. We do not share your address, and this list is separate from anything your organization sends to its own audience.

Add them to any plan

Signatures & Waivers and Mailchimp (in beta) can be added when you sign up. For branding, ticketing channels or API access, email us and we will switch it on for your organization.
