Forms and signatures
The form is the agreement.
Build rental inquiries, intake forms, contracts and waivers in one builder. Ask only the questions that apply, add up the costs as people fill it in, and collect the signature on the same page as the answers.
From a blank form to a signed record
Rules that keep long forms short
Most form builders are surveys that know nothing about a venue. This one has fields for addresses, file uploads, dates on your calendar, rooms and packages, as well as the usual text, number and choice fields.
Ask everyone the first four questions. Ask the other thirty only of the people they apply to. A question can appear only when earlier answers call for it, and a hidden question is never required, so nobody gets stuck on something they cannot see. Long forms split into pages, and a cost table adds itself up and splits the total between the venue and a partner.

Every required question on every page is answered. This is where the signature goes — see it at work further down.
Publish it three ways at once
Every form has its own page to share as a link, an embed for your website that sizes itself to fit, and a QR code for the lobby. All three are the same form, so a change reaches every one of them at once.
A rental inquiry form asks about dates and rooms using the same fields as your events. When someone sends it, it becomes a draft event, with its dates held on your calendar straight away so two people can't be promised the same room.

A draft event now holds the main hall on November 14, ready for the agreement.
The signature is a field on the form
Put a signature field on any form and the answers, the cost split and the agreement become one signed document. Initials work the way paper does: draw them once, then tap to add them where they are needed, and you can require them on every page.
Nobody edits the deal after it has gone out: the terms and answers are fixed the moment a signing invitation is sent. A signature made on screen is recorded with who signed and when, the disclosure they were shown, the consent they gave, and the device and network address it came from. A certified envelope's consent step happens inside the independent signing service, so our record of it holds who signed and when, and that service's own certificate is kept beside ours. Every signature comes with a Certificate of Signature showing the timeline we recorded.
The signing flow is designed to meet the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA: nobody can sign until they have seen the disclosure and agreed to sign electronically. Whether a particular agreement holds up depends on the agreement and where you are, so ask your own lawyer about that.
The technical detail — how records are sealed, how calendar feeds stay in step, how refunds avoid double-charging — is in the developer documentation. Read how it works

The record, as it grows
Native or certified, honestly
Two ways to sign, one form builder. Use whichever fits; most organizations use both. Both come with the Signatures & Waivers add-on at $25/month.
| Compared | Native signature pad | Certified envelope |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | $0 per signature | $0 per envelope. Unlimited certified envelopes every month on the $25/month add-on. No per-envelope charge and no cap to set. |
| Best for | Activity waivers, class sign-ups and check-in on the day | Artist contracts and agreements that need a third-party audit trail |
| The record | Stored with the form answers, with a Certificate of Signature | The same, plus a sealed PDF and a completion certificate from the signing service |
| Signing | Right away, on the same page or device | Emailed to every signer, signed in their own time |
A certified envelope adds a sealed PDF and a timestamp from an independent signing service, kept alongside the Certificate of Signature rather than in place of it.
Ready to stop chasing paper?
Signatures & Waivers is a $25/month add-on with unlimited certified envelopes every month. No per-envelope charge and no cap to set. Add it when you sign up, or email us and we will add it to your plan.
